Nagpur is a favored destination of IT/ITES, BPO operations. There are 63 IT companies operating in Nagpur. Also the textile, garments, food processing, Health Industry, pharmaceuticals and Bio- medical Industries etc. are the consumers of MADC MIHAN.
The estimated load forecast for the five years controlling period in MIHAN SEZ area is @ 94 MW .
The power requirement of MIHAN SEZ would be around 200 MW by 2025.
The distribution Network consists of 4 PSS i.e. 33/11 KV substations with total transformation capacity of 160 MW and 2no DTH to feed power to the consumers
A ring main at 11 KV network is formed to have an alternate supply arrangement to the consumers so that there will be minimum interruptions to the consumers. The 33KV network of 44 KM & 11KV network of 62 KM is established by laying underground cable
The EHV network will be developed as per the requirement of the consumers for which spare bays are available at 220/33 KV receiving S/s
